Aluminum wire rod comes in various types designed for different industrial sectors. In particular, the product range includes electrical wire rod for the cable industry with diameters of 9, 9.5, 12, 15, and 19 mm, as well as electrical wire rod made from alloys for the cable industry with a diameter of 9.5 mm. Wire rods with diameters of 9.5, 11.5, 12, 14, and 15 mm are available for steel deoxidation. This product is manufactured on the ExtruForm line using the unique patented technology of continuous casting, rolling, and pressing (CCRP). AlZr alloys, as well as alloys from the 1xxx, 6xxx, and 8xxx series, are used to produce the wire rod. The products comply with the Russian GOST 13843–78 standard, the international ASTM B233 and EN 1715 standards, as well as the customers’ technical requirements. Aluminum wire rod is produced at such plants as IrkAZ, BrAZ, and KAZ. This product is widely used in various industrial fields. In the electrical industry, the wire rod is used to manufacture wires and cables, ensuring efficient power transmission. In the ferrous metallurgy sector, it is used as a deoxidizing agent to improve the properties of steel. It is also applied in the production of hardware items, ensuring high quality and reliability of the final products.
